The integration consists of two separate parts which are stand-alone and can be purchased individually or altogether:
Shipment Export to NetDespatch
Stop entering shipments manually today! The integration will provide a specially crafted file after you have selected orders to ship in Magento. This file has to be placed in the import directory of NetDespatch then - that's it. All details of an order required to ship the order will be sent to NetDespatch. Included as part of this integration is the NetDespatch Connector application, which will fully automate the pickup of files placed in the import directory and print the shipping labels as required.
Tracking Number Import from NetDespatch into Magento
Let’s be honest: creating invoices, shipment and adding tracking numbers in Magento is an extremely time-consuming and annoying job, especially if you’re processing more than a couple of orders every day. Using this part of the integration, the tracking number import will be completely automated - you won’t have to do anything manually in Magento anymore. After uploading the NetDespatch response file, provided by Connector, in Magento, our integration creates the invoice (optional), captures the payment (optional), creates the shipment for the order (optional), adds the tracking number, notifies the customer that their order has been invoiced/shipped (optional) and will set the order status to ‘Complete’ (or any custom status).
Attention: You must be using NetDespatch in order to be able to use this integration. Please get in touch with NetDespatch if you are not using NetDespatch yet. Please note this is a NetDespatch/Velocity Connector integration only, and doesn't use the NetDespatch API.
Important: Please make sure that your Magento webserver comes with support for the XSL PHP extension. To see if your server supports XSL, please download (save as a .php file) and run this file
on your server or have a look at the phpinfo() output on your server to see if XSL support has been enabled. The integration uses the FTP protocol to synchronize files. Thus, a FTP server must be running on the Magento server as well as FTP connections between the Magento server and the workstation must be possible.
Available for Magento 2
The NetDespatch Integration for Magento 2 has been released in April 2016. It was redesigned from the ground up and is more stable than ever before. Please select the appropriate Magento version (Magento 1 or Magento 2) in the "Add to Cart" popup when purchasing the extension.
